A little more than two months ago, I was in the worst shape of my life. I had gained forty pounds and was not working out or living healthy. My girlfriend and I were regulars at the local sports bars, and were living in denial about the affects on us physically. You may know the feeling of starting to search out the bigger clothes in your closet; the second chin that you just ignore; and the general lack of energy that you just accept.

On January 11, 2009, I decided that I had enough. The weight had to come off and I had to start eating healthy. The gym was going to be my new second home and the bars would have to wait. Yet, as I started back into the gym I realized I didn’t know where to begin. What should I do to loose weight gain muscle and increase my energy?

I first started with a few lessons from a personal trainer. Four sessions totaling over $125.00, at first it seemed like the best option. I had some great work out and thought I was on my way. Yet he didn’t have the answers for everything I was looking for to achieve total health. It felt like a hole that I would keep throwing money into. Money that I didn’t have to waste. I then found the Elite Body Masters Series it has been the perfect tool to guide me through all the bits of information on health that’s out there.

The Elite Body Masters Series takes information on all aspects of health and combines it to make it easy for me to find the quickest path to total health. In working the program, I have talked to Jim Katsoulis about my progress and goals. He has asked me to blog about my progress and how this program has shaped my goals and attitude about health.

I have been working on my goal to loose 60lbs with the help of the Elite Body Masters Series. I started out weighing 240lbs and am down to 216lbs. It has not been easy it has been a lot of work. Yet I have gained muscle and still lost 23lbs. This means that I have lost 23lbs of pure fat. In the course of my blogging I will be posting exercise videos, tips, and eventually pictures to show the progress that I will achieve through the series.

Stay tuned, get excited, and keep informed

    Chris
