  • Patience is key to Succesful Weight Loss

Posted on March 24th, 2009 admin 3 comments

Today I wanted to talk a little about patience. The patience to realize that it took a long time for me to gain the weight and that it’s going to take time to loose it. I have been working my butt off for over two months. I have lost 24lbs. Weight loss is slow and takes time to build up momentum. Yet, keep working; keep clawing everyday to lose the weight. For me it took about 15lbs, it was at 15lbs that people started to notice that I had lost weight. It felt like forever before I started to get some recognition that I was doing something difficult and that I was successful.

I think about the struggle everyday to choose the low calorie options. The redundancy to go to the gym and work out five times a week. To have my days off be successful diet days. I think about this and then realize that patience is a key to weight loss. There aren’t any magic pills, yet. So stay with your diet plan; keep exercising, and remember you control you weight.

Stay tuned, get excited, and keep informed

    3. Yes. such an important topic yet it’s so hard to grasp. I can keep it up for a couple of weeks, but then it all goes down the drain… How do you keep motivated?
